2. I started running again this week. Ever since I hurt my knee running that half-marathon in August I have been taking it easy wishing to fully recuperate. And unfortunately, every time I had tried running up until this week my knee started to hurt. But it seems now I can get back into the swing of things, just in time to run the Gobble Jog down in Atlanta in a few weeks. My brain and lungs are all fired up ready to go when I hit the trail, my legs however are protesting every step of every mile so far (I'm sooooooore).
3. They opened up a TJ Maxx just a few miles from my office, which is probably going to be bad news for my wallet, but will make lunch breaks much more enjoyable. I stopped by yesterday just to check it out and stumbled on a plethora of red purses. I've had new red purse on my shopping list for quite awhile, ever since my last one bit the dust after college. I could not decide on one in the store, so naturally I bought two with the plan to return the other this weekend. So now I need your help, which do you like better: left, right, or neither (as was David's vote)?
4. We are finally back in a recipe planning, grocery shopping, cooking-good-meals routine, which usually happens after the baseball season winds down. However, after-work projects, such as painting the house, kept interrupting us from doing more than throwing something together to eat from what we had lying around the house. It feels good to be making thought-out meals again (and sitting down and enjoying them together) and I look forward to having a few more recipes to share around here in the near future.
5. I believe I mentioned this last year around this time, but in theory I believe Christmas music, movies, decorations, etc should wait until after Thanksgiving so you can enjoy each holiday as it comes. However I have come to accept that Christmas music makes me inexplicably happy and therefore I will not impose harsh time limits on myself... I in fact have started listening to it as of today. I did however wait decide to wait until Nov 1st as I did not want to confuse my Christmas music with the Halloween movies I was watching- it doesn't mix well with horror movies.

just don't know which purse. I like the shape of the one on the left but I like the black outline of the one on the right. good luck with your decision.
